- Macie checks your public buckets, unencrypted buckets, or shared buckets with any account outside of your AWS organizations.

- Macie’s alerts can be searched and filtered in the AWS Management Console
- Alerts are sent to Amazon EventBridge, formerly called Amazon CloudWatch Events.
- Alerts can be integrated with AWS SecurityHub for analysis of your organization’s security policies.
